CUMMINS SALES & SERVICE, INC.
FOR TWO (2) 100KW STANDBY DIESEL POWER GENERATION UNITS
FOR PUBLIC WORKS
(CONTRACT TOTAL AMOUNT $182,890)

WHEREAS, the County of DuPage by virtue of its power set forth in the Counties Code (55 ILCS 5/1-1001 et seq.) is authorized to enter into this Agreement; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Governmental Joint Purchasing Act (30 ILCS 525/2), the County is authorized to enter into a Joint Purchasing Agreement for two (2) 100kW Standby Diesel Power Generation Units; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Intergovernmental Agreement between the County of DuPage and the Sourcewell Contract #09222-CMM, the County of DuPage will contract with Cummins Sales & Service, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee recommends County Board approval for the issuance of a contract to Cummins Sales & Service Inc., FOR two (2) 100kW Standby Diesel Power Generation Units, for the period of October 27, 2026 through June 30, 2027, for Public Works.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that County contract, covering said for two (2) 100kW Standby Diesel Power Generation Units, for the period of October 27, 2026 through June 30, 2027, for Public Works, be, and it is hereby approved for issuance of a contract by the Procurement Division to Cummins Sales & Service, Inc., 350 Victoria Street, Shoreview, Minnesota, 55126, for a contract total amount not to exceed $182,890, per contract pursuant to the Sourcewell Agreement # 09222-CMM.
