AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF DU PAGE, ILLINOIS
AND CIORBA GROUP, INC.
PROFESSIONAL CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES
2026 ROADWAY RESURFACING PROGRAM-SOUTH REGION
SECTION 26-00331-00-RS
(CONTRACT TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED $466,950.00)
resolution
WHEREAS, the County of DuPage (hereinafter “COUNTY”) by virtue of its power set forth in “Counties Code” (55 ILCS 5/5-1001 et. seq.) and “Illinois Highway Code” (605 ILCS 5/5-101 et. seq.) is authorized to enter into this agreement; and
WHEREAS, the COUNTY requires Professional Construction Engineering Services for the 2026 Roadway Resurfacing Program, South Region-Section 26-00331-00-RS; and
WHEREAS, Ciorba Group, Inc. (hereinafter “CONSULTANT”) has experience and expertise in this area and is in the business of providing such professional construction engineering services, and is willing to perform the required services for an amount not to exceed $466,950.00; and
WHEREAS, the COUNTY has selected the CONSULTANT in accordance with the Professional Services Selection Process found in Section 2-353(1)(a) of the DuPage County Procurement Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee has reviewed and recommends approval of the attached Agreement at the specified amount.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the DuPage County Board that the attached Agreement between the County of DuPage and the CONSULTANT be hereby accepted and approved for a contract total not to exceed $466,950.00 and that the Chair of the DuPage County Board is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Agreement on behalf of the COUNTY; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk transmit a copy of this Resolution and the accompanying Illinois Department of Transportation BLR form appropriating the necessary motor fuel tax funds to pay for the improvement to the State of Illinois Department of Transportation, by and through the Division of Transportation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that that the County Clerk transmit an original copy of this Resolution and Agreement to Ciorba Group, Inc., 8725 W. Higgins Road, Suite 600, Chicago, Illinois 60631, by and through the Division of Transportation.
