AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF DU PAGE, ILLINOIS
AND THOMAS ENGINEERING GROUP, LLC.
PROFESSIONAL PRELIMINARY (PHASE I) AND DESIGN (PHASE II)
ENGINEERING SERVICES UPON REQUEST OF THE DIVISION OF TRANSPORTATION AND FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SECTION 26-00009-09-EG
(CONTRACT TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED $600,000.00)

WHEREAS, the County of DuPage (hereinafter COUNTY) by virtue of its power set forth in "Counties Code" (55 JLCS 5/5-1001 et. seq.) and "Illinois Highway Code" (605 ILCS 5/5-101 et. seq.) is authorized to enter into this agreement (hereinafter “Agreement”); and
WHEREAS, the COUNTY requires Professional Preliminary and Design Engineering Services, upon request of the Division of Transportation and Facilities Management, Section 26-00009-09-EG; and
WHEREAS, Thomas Engineering Group, LLC. (hereinafter referred to as “CONSULTANT”) has experience and expertise in this area and is in the business of providing such Preliminary and Design Engineering Services, and is willing to perform the required services for an amount not to exceed $600,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the COUNTY has selected the CONSULTANT in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, 50 ILCS 510/0.01 et seq. and Section 2-353(1)(a) of the DuPage County Procurement Code; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee has reviewed and recommends approval of the attached Agreement at the specified amount, for a contract period of September 22, 2026 through October 31, 2029.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the DuPage County Board that the attached Agreement between the County of DuPage and Thomas Engineering Group, LLC. be hereby accepted and approved for a contract total not to exceed $600,000.00 and that the Chair of the DuPage County Board is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Agreement on behalf of the COUNTY and the DuPage County Clerk is hereby authorized to attest thereto; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that an original copy of this Resolution and Agreement be transmitted to Thomas Engineering Group, LLC., 2625 Butterfield Road, Suite 209W, Oakbrook, Illinois 60523, by and through the Division of Transportation.
