AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF DU PAGE, ILLINOIS
AND CIVILTECH ENGINEERING, INC. FOR VARIOUS PROFESSIONAL TRANSPORTATION PLANNING AND OUTREACH SERVICES
FOR THE DIVISION OF TRANSPORTATION
SECTION 26-00009-03-EG
(CONTRACT TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED $300,000.00)
resolution
WHEREAS, the County of DuPage (hereinafter COUNTY) by virtue of its power set forth in “Counties Code” (55 ILCS 5/5-1001 et. seq.) and “Illinois Highway Code” (605 ILCS 5/5-101 et. seq.) is authorized to enter into this professional services agreement (hereinafter “Agreement”); and
WHEREAS, the COUNTY requires Various Transportation Planning and Outreach Services, upon request of the Division of Transportation, Section 26-00009-03-EG; and
WHEREAS, Civiltech Engineering, Inc. (hereinafter CONSULTANT) has experience and expertise in this area and is in the business of providing such professional services, and is willing to perform the required services for an amount not to exceed $300,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the COUNTY has selected the CONSULTANT in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, 50 ILCS 510/0.01 et seq. and Section 2-353(1)(a) of the DuPage County Purchasing Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee has reviewed and recommends approval of the attached Agreement at the specified amount, with the services required hereunder to be completed by October 31, 2029.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the DuPage County Board that the attached Agreement between the County of DuPage and Civiltech Engineering, Inc. be hereby accepted and approved for a contract total not to exceed $300,000.00 and that the Chair of the DuPage County Board is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Agreement on behalf of the COUNTY; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that an original copy of this Resolution and Agreement be transmitted to Civiltech Engineering, Inc., Two pierce Plaza, Suite 1400, Itasca, Illinois 606143, by and through the Division of Transportation.
