REAPPOINTMENT OF TEN MEMBERS TO

THE DUPAGE EXPANDED BOARD OF REVIEW

WHEREAS, 35 ILCS 200/6-25, provides that whenever the number of complaints filed with the Board of Review relating to the assessment of property has created an emergency situation and caused a need for an Expanded Board of Review, the County Board Chair may appoint additional members for the sole purpose of holding separate hearings on complaints; and

 

WHEREAS, such a situation now exists; and

 

WHEREAS, Deborah A. Conroy, County Board Chair, has submitted the following ten members for re-appointments to be Members of the Expanded Board of Review attached hereto and made a part hereof:-

 

Mark Bittner

Lee Lansford

Carl Melby

Michael Mufarreh

Susan Nagel

John Olson

Michael Pearson

David Rogers

James Rup

Ulyana Trichkovska.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the DuPage County Board that the County Board finds that the number of complaints filed with the Board of Review relating to the assessment of property has created an emergency situation and caused a need for an Expanded Board of Review and does hereby advise and consent to the reappointments of Mark Bittner, Lee Lansford, Carl Melby, Michael Mufarreh, Susan Nagel, John Olson, Michael Pearson, David Rogers, James Rup and Ulyana Trichkovska as members of the DuPage Expanded Board of Review, each with terms expiring May 31st, 2027; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that compensation for said members of the Expanded Board of Review shall be two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) for each day so employed, or one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) for each half-day so employed, and traveling expenses shall be reimbursed at the rate per mile approved by the County Board; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the “Notice of Reappointments” be attached hereunto and made part of this resolution; and

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Clerk shall transmit certified copies of this resolution to: Mark Bittner, Lee Lansford, Carl Melby, Michael Mufarreh, Susan Nagel, John Olson, Michael Pearson, David Rogers, James Rup and Ulyana Trichkovska.
