TRANSFER OF FUNDING FROM THE
DUPAGE ANIMAL FRIENDS FOUNDATION COORDINATOR GRANT PY25

TO THE

DUPAGE ANIMAL FRIENDS UNRESTRICTED GRANT PY25

COMPANY 5000 - ACCOUNTING UNIT 1310

$3,903.21

(Under the administrative direction of Animal Services)

WHEREAS, the County of DuPage has been notified by DuPage Animal Friends that unspent grant funds in the amount of $3,903.21 (THREE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED THREE AND 21/100 DOLLARS), which were part of appropriation FI-R-0043-25, may be transferred from the DuPage Animal Friends Foundation Coordinator Grant PY25 to the DuPage Animal Friends Unrestricted Grant PY25 and are available to be used for the unrestricted program needs of DuPage County Animal Services; and

WHEREAS, to transfer said grant funds, the County of DuPage must accept a letter from DuPage Animal Friends, a copy of which is attached to and incorporated as a part of this resolution by reference (Attachment II); and

WHEREAS, the term of the DuPage Animal Friends Unrestricted grant award remained unchanged from December 1, 2024 to November 30, 2026; and

WHEREAS, no additional County funds are required to receive this funding; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the DuPage County Board that the letter between the County of DuPage and DuPage Animal Friends is hereby accepted; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the DuPage County Board that the net-zero appropriation on the attached sheets (Attachment I and Attachment III) be made to transfer unspent funding from the DuPage Animal Friends Foundation Coordinator Grant PY25 to the DuPage Animal Friends Unrestricted Grant PY25, Company 5000 - Accounting Unit 1310; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the DuPage County Board, that should local funding cease for this grant, the Animal Services Committee shall review the need for continuing the specified program; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that should the Animal Services Committee determine the need for other funding is appropriate, it may recommend action to the County Board by resolution.
