AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF DU PAGE, ILLINOIS
AND BOWMAN CONSULTING GROUP, LTD.
VARIOUS CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES
SECTION 26-00009-06-EG
(CONTRACT TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED $500,000.00)

WHEREAS, the County of DuPage (hereinafter referred to as COUNTY) by virtue of its power set forth in “Counties Code” (55 ILCS 5/5-1001 et. seq.) and “Illinois Highway Code” (605 ILCS 5/5-101 et. seq.) is authorized to enter into this agreement; and
WHEREAS, the COUNTY requires Professional Construction Engineering Services for various improvements, Section 26-00009-06-EG; and
WHEREAS, Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CONSULTANT) has experience and expertise in this area and is in the business of providing such professional construction engineering services, and is willing to perform the required services for an amount not to exceed $500,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the COUNTY has selected the CONSULTANT in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, 50 ILCS 510/0.01 et seq. and Section 2-353(1)(a) of the DuPage County Procurement Code; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee has reviewed and recommends approval of the attached Agreement at the specified amount.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the DuPage County Board that the attached Agreement between the County of DuPage and Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. be hereby accepted and approved for a contract total not to exceed $500,000.00 and that the Chair of the DuPage County Board is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Agreement on behalf of the COUNTY; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that an original copy of this Resolution and Agreement be transmitted to Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd., 1001 Warrenville Road, Suite 110, Lisle, Illinois 60532, by and through the Division of Transportation.
