ISSUED TO HR GREEN, INC.
PROFESSIONAL PRELIMINARY DESIGN ENGINEERING SERVICES
SECTION 20-DEENG-03-EG
(CONTRACT EXTENSION AND INCREASE OF $100,000.00; +25%)

WHEREAS, the DuPage County Board heretofore adopted Resolution DT-P-0311-19 on November 12, 2019, which approved a Professional Services Agreement between the County of DuPage (hereinafter “COUNTY”) and HR Green, Inc. for Professional Preliminary Design Engineering Services for various improvements, Section 20-DEENG-03-EG; and
WHEREAS, the current cost of the PROJECT to the County of DuPage, by and through the Division of Transportation, is $400,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the County's proposed culvert replacement on County Highway 5/Park Boulevard requires additional design coordination with the Illinois Department of Transportation’s ongoing project on IL Route 56 (Butterfield Road) to ensure compatibility of the project with the state highway system improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee recommends a change order to increase the contract in the amount of $100,000.00, and to extend the contract completion date through May 31, 2028.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the DuPage County Board adopt this Amendment to Resolution DT-P-0211-19, issued to HR Green, Inc., to extend the contract completion date to May 31, 2028, and to increase the funding in the amount of $100,000.00, resulting in an amended contract total amount of $500,000.00, an increase of 25%; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that an original copy of this Resolution and Agreement be transmitted to HR Green, Inc., 2363 Sequoia Drive, Suite 101, Aurora, Illinois 60506, by and through the Division of Transportation.
