RESOLUTION APPROVING MEMBER INITIATIVE PROGRAM AGREEMENTS

WHEREAS, the DuPage County Board has appropriated approximately $1.8 million for use in the Member Initiative Program (MIP) as part of FI-O-0010-24; and

 

WHEREAS, various members of the DuPage County Board have submitted applications for the use of MIP funds for various not-for-profit and municipal entities; and

 

WHEREAS, the DuPage County Board has considered the applications of the following entities:

a.                     Village of Hinsdale ($45,000)

b.                     West Chicago Park District ($8,771.75)

c.                     Village of Itasca ($25,000)

d.                     DuPage County Division of Transportation ($18,155)

e.                     York Township ($31,042.50)

f.                     JUST of DuPage ($10,000)

 

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the DuPage County Board authorizes the DuPage County Chair to enter into agreements substantially in the form of the agreements attached as part of Exhibits A-F to this Resolution; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution is to be sent to each of the above referenced entities at the following addresses:

a.                     Village of Hinsdale, c/o Kathleen Gargano, 19 E. Chicago Ave., Hinsdale, IL 60521

b.                     West Chicago Park District c/o Ben Nelson, 201 W. National St., West Chicago, IL 60185

c.                     Village of Itasca, c/o Deanne Curelo, 550 W. Irving Park Road, Itasca, IL 60143

d.                     DuPage County Division of Transportation, c/o Steve Travia, 421 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton, IL 60187

e.                     York Township, c/o Tim Murray, 1502 S. Meyers Road, Lombard, IL 60148

f.                     DuPage County Sheriff’s Office, c/o Michael Beary, 501 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton, IL 60187

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution is to be directed to: (1) the DuPage County Clerk, (2) the DuPage County Finance Department, (3) the DuPage County Treasurer, and (4) the DuPage County Auditor.
