RESOLUTION APPROVING ENTRY OF LEASE AGREEMENT
WITH THE REGIONAL OFFICE OF EDUCATION
FOR PORTIONS OF 2S361 GLEN PARK ROAD, LOMBARD, ILLINOIS

WHEREAS, the County of DuPage is acquiring the real property located in unincorporated Lombard commonly known as 2S361 Glen Park Road, Lombard, Illinois, 60148 (“Subject Property”) under FI-R-0181-26 (“Resolution Approving Purchase of Real Property Located at 2S361 Glen Park Road, Lombard, Illinois”); and
WHEREAS, the Subject Property is to be used for the operational needs of the DuPage County Regional Office of Education (“ROE”) pursuant to the terms of the acquisition agreement under FI-R-0182-26 (“Resolution Approving Agreement between the County of DuPage and the DuPage County Regional Office of Education Relating to the Purchase of Real Property”); and
WHEREAS, the County’s acquisition of the Subject Property includes a leaseback of a portion of the Subject Property to the seller for continued operation of their food pantry pursuant to the terms and conditions of the lease agreement between the County and the seller under FI-R-0184-26 (“Resolution Approving Entry of a Lease Agreement with Christ Church of Oak Brook for Food Pantry Services”); and
WHEREAS, the County and ROE desire to enter into a lease agreement relating to portions of the Subject Property (“Lease Agreement”); and
WHEREAS, this Lease Agreement governs the ROE’s use of the Property, including but not limited to, the payment of rent and other applicable costs associated with use and occupation of the Subject Property, the nature of the premises available to ROE, and other miscellaneous terms of the Lease Agreement; and
WHEREAS, this Lease Agreement has been reviewed by the County and ROE and its respective legal representatives; and
WHEREAS, the Lease Agreement between the County and ROE is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the DuPage County Board hereby accepts and approves the Lease Agreement between the County and the ROE upon substantially similar material terms to those provided in this Resolution and Exhibit A; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chair of the DuPage County Board is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf of the County, to execute the Lease containing substantially similar terms to those in the Lease Agreement attached as Exhibit A.
