INTERGOVERNMENTAL GRANT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF DUPAGE AND WHEATON PARK DISTRICT
FOR THE USE OF ARPA INTEREST FUNDS
FOR THE PURCHASE OF A SHADE STRUCTURE FOR THE SENSORY GARDEN

WHEREAS, the Wheaton Park District (“District”) wishes to purchase a replacement shade structure to provide respite to visitors of the Sensory Garden Playground located in Lisle, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, DuPage County (“County”) seeks to provide $15,000 in ARPA Interest funds to the District for the purchase of a replacement shade structure for the Sensory Garden Playground; and
WHEREAS, the County has prepared an Intergovernmental Agreement which outlines the arrangements between the County and the District to govern the disbursement and auditing of the funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the DuPage County Board approves the attached Intergovernmental Agreement (“Exhibit A”) between the County and the District; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the DuPage County Board hereby directs the DuPage County Board Chair to execute the Intergovernmental Agreement between the County and the District.
