AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT 6395-1-SERV
ISSUED TO MONROE TRUCK EQUIPMENT, INC.
TO FURNISH AND DELIVER
MONROE SPREADER AND PLOW REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT PARTS
FOR THE DIVISION OF TRANSPORTATION
(INCREASE $38,500.00 +27.5%)

WHEREAS, County contract 6395-1-SERV, issued to Monroe Truck Equipment, Inc., to furnish and deliver Monroe Spreader and Plow repair and replacement parts was approved on April 25, 2023; and
WHEREAS, an amendment was issued on April 8th, 2025 to increase the purchase order by $140,000; and
WHEREAS, in prepping the County fleet, it was determined that some of the County owned snowplow trucks and snow and ice equipment required unexpected but necessary, extensive repairs; and
WHEREAS, in order to keep the County’s full fleet available for use in the event of a snow event, it is necessary to have these repairs completed; and
WHEREAS, an increase in the contract total amount is needed to pay for the final invoices of said snowplow truck and snow and ice equipment repairs; and
WHEREAS, said increase is in the best interest of the County and is authorized by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Board adopt the Amendment to County contract 6395-1-SERV, issued to Monroe Truck Equipment, Inc., to increase the funding in the amount of $38,500.00, resulting in an amended contract total amount of $178,500.00, an increase of 27.5% and a cumulative increase of 98.33%.
