GRANT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF DUPAGE AND ACCELERATE CLIMATE SOLUTIONS
FOR THE USE OF ARPA INTEREST FUNDS
FOR THE BUILDING LEADERSHIP AROUND
SUSTAINABLE TRANSFORMATION PROGRAM

WHEREAS, Accelerate Climate Solutions (“Agency”) wishes to provide the Building Leadership Around Sustainable Transformation (BLAST) Program; and
WHEREAS, DuPage County (“County”) seeks to provide $35,000 in ARPA Interest funds to the Agency for costs associated with providing the BLAST Program which gives local high school and college students the avenues to get involved in climate solutions, environmental protections, and sustainability; and
WHEREAS, the County has prepared a Grant Agreement which outlines the arrangements between the County and the Agency to govern the disbursement and auditing of the funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the DuPage County Board approves the attached Grant Agreement (“Exhibit A”) between the County and the Agency; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the DuPage County Board hereby directs the DuPage County Board Chair to execute the Grant Agreement between the County and the Agency.
