AWARDING RESOLUTION
ISSUED TO KONE, INC.
TO PROVIDE ELEVATOR AND ESCALATOR
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES
FOR FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
(CONTRACT TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED $4,362,739.00)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Intergovernmental Agreement between the County of DuPage and OMNIA Partners, Contract GENRL-EV2516, the County of DuPage will contract with Kone, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee recommends County Board approval for the issuance of a contract to Kone, Inc., to provide elevator and escalator maintenance and repair services including but not limited to modernization of elevators at the Jack T. Knuepfer and Care Center buildings, and various capital improvements as needed for County facilities, for the period December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2029, for Facilities Management.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that County Contract, covering said, to provide elevator and escalator maintenance and repair services including but not limited to modernization of elevators at the Jack T. Knuepfer and Care Center buildings, and various capital improvements as needed for the period December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2029, for Facilities Management, be, and it is hereby approved for issuance of a contract by the Procurement Division to, Kone, Inc., 1080 Parkview Blvd, Lombard, IL 60148, for a total contract amount not to exceed $4,362,739.00. (Facilities Management $3,333,213.24, Care Center $1,001,000.00 and Division of Transportation $28,525.76)
