AWARDING RESOLUTION
TO SEMPER FI LANDSCAPING, INC. FOR THE
2026-2028 VARIOUS HIGHWAY LANDSCAPING PROGRAM
SECTION 26-LSHWY-03-LS
(ESTIMATED COUNTY COST: $299,225.00)

WHEREAS, the County of DuPage is authorized and empowered to construct, repair, improve and maintain County and/or township roads, bridges, and appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the County of DuPage has published a contract proposal for the 2026-2028 Various Highway Landscaping Program, Section 26-LSHWY-03-LS, setting forth the terms, conditions, and specifications (a copy of which is incorporated herein by reference); and
WHEREAS, the budgets for the 2026-2028 fiscal years provide for the construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, and appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received in compliance with the contract proposal:

Semper Fi Landscaping, Inc. $299,225.00
Sebert Landscaping $340,700.00
; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is in the best interest of the County of DuPage to award a contract to Semper Fi Landscaping, Inc. for their submission of the lowest responsible bid in the amount of $299,225.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a contract in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications set forth in said contract proposal be, and is hereby awarded to Semper Fi Landscaping, Inc., 10744 Route 47, Yorkville, Illinois 60560 for their bid of $299,225.00; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this contract is subject to the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130), and as such, not less than the prevailing rate of wages as found by the Illinois Department of Labor shall be paid to all laborers, workers, or mechanics performing work under this contract; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the DuPage County Chair is hereby authorized and directed sign on behalf of the COUNTY, and the County Clerk is hereby authorized to attest the af...
