AWARDING RESOLUTION
ISSUED TO DU KANE ASPHALT COMPANY
TO FURNISH AND DELIVER
BITUMINOUS PAVING MATERIALS FOR THE CENTRAL REGION
AS NEEDED FOR THE DIVISION OF TRANSPORTATION
(CONTRACT TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED $120,000.00)

WHEREAS, bids have been taken and processed in accordance with County Board policy; and

WHEREAS, the lowest most responsible bidder has been designated and the Transportation Committee recommends County Board approval for the issuance of a contract to DuKane Asphalt Company, to furnish and deliver bituminous paving materials for the central region, as needed for the Division of Transportation, for the period April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said contract to furnish and deliver bituminous paving materials for the central region, as needed for the Division of Transportation, for the period April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027, is hereby approved for issuance to DuKane Asphalt Company, 555 Rohlwing Road, Addison, Illinois 60101, for a contract total not to exceed $120,000.00, per lowest responsible bid # 26-021-DOT.

 

Enacted and approved this 10th day of March, 2026 at Wheaton, Illinois.
