ETS-R-0055B-24 - AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION ETS-R-0055-24 ISSUED TO DELTAWRX LLC FOR RFP SERVICES FOR THE COMPUTER AIDED DISPATCH PUBLIC SAFETY SYSTEM

WHEREAS, the DuPage County Emergency Telephone System Board (“DU PAGE ETSB”) is an emergency telephone system board, established pursuant to Section 15.4 of the Local Government Emergency Telephone System Act, 50 ILCS 750/15.4 (“Act”); and
WHEREAS, the DU PAGE ETSB is authorized and empowered, pursuant to Section 15.4 (b) of the Act to plan, implement, upgrade, and maintain an Emergency 9-1-1 System for citizens of the County of DuPage and portions of Cook, Kane and Will counties; and
WHEREAS, the DU PAGE ETSB is authorized by law and local ordinance to make disbursements from the 9-1-1 surcharge funds it receives pursuant to law for costs related to products and services necessary for the implementation, upgrade and maintenance of the emergency telephone system; and
WHEREAS, an agreement was negotiated in accordance with the DU PAGE ETSB by ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the current contract total amount is $213,227.25; and
WHEREAS, the 9-1-1 System Manager recommends DU PAGE ETS Board approval to administratively decrease and close DeltaWRX LLC PO 924013/7234-1 and release remaining funds in the amount of $164,312.00 there being no additional invoices to be paid on said contract.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the DU PAGE ETSB hereby decreases the funding in the amount of $164,312.00, resulting in a final DU PAGE ETSB cost of $48,915.25, a decrease of 77.06%.
