RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER #7 TO PURVIS SYSTEMS INCORPORATED PO 924025/7298-1 FOR ADDITIONAL OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT FOR THE WINFIELD FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT AND THE ITASCA FIRE DEPARTMENT (CHANGE ORDER AMOUNT $4,885.00; NEW CONTRACT AMOUNT: $702,805.00)

WHEREAS, the DuPage County Emergency Telephone System Board ("DU PAGE ETSB") is an emergency telephone system board, established pursuant to Section 15.4 of the Local Government Emergency Telephone System Act, 50 ILCS 750/15.4 ("Act"); and
WHEREAS, the DU PAGE ETSB is authorized and empowered, pursuant to Section 15.4 (b) of the Act to plan, implement, upgrade, and maintain an Emergency 9-1-1 System for citizens of the County of DuPage and portions of Cook, Kane and Will counties; and
WHEREAS, the DU PAGE ETSB is authorized by law and local ordinance to make disbursements from the 9-1-1 surcharge funds it receives pursuant to law for costs related to products and services necessary for the implementation, upgrade and maintenance of the emergency telephone system; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated in accordance with the DU PAGE ETSB by ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the 9-1-1 System Coordinator recommends DU PAGE ETS Board approval of PURVIS Systems Incorporated Change Order #3 to Purchase Order 924025/7298-1, to allow for the purchase of additional optional Fire Station Alerting (FSA) equipment for the Winfield Fire Protection District and the Itasca Fire Department and to update the Milestone payment schedule accordingly in the County Finance software. Total amount of the equipment is $4,885.00, for a new contract amount of $702,805.00.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that DU PAGE ETSB Change Order #7 to Purchase Order 924025/7298-1 dated October 1, 2025, covering said, additional optional FSA equipment for the Winfield FPD and the Itasca FD, be, and is hereby approved by the DU PAGE ETSB to PURVIS Systems Incorporated, 88 Silva Lan...
