AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF DU PAGE, ILLINOIS
AND ALFRED BENESCH & COMPANY FOR
PROFESSIONAL STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING SERVICES
UPON REQUEST OF THE DIVISION OF TRANSPORTATION
SECTION 26-00009-01-EG
(CONTRACT TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED $500,000.00)

WHEREAS, the County of DuPage (hereinafter COUNTY) by virtue of its power set forth in "Counties Code" (55 ILCS 5/5-1001 et. seq.) and "Illinois Highway Code" (605 ILCS 5/5-101 et. seq.) is authorized to enter into this agreement, (hereinafter "AGREEMENT"); and
WHEREAS, the COUNTY requires Professional Structural Engineering Services, upon request of the Division of Transportation for various locations, Section 26-00009-01-EG; and
WHEREAS, Alfred Benesch & Company (hereinafter CONSULTANT) has experience and expertise in this area and is in the business of providing such professional structural engineering services, and is willing to perform the required services for an amount not to exceed $500,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the COUNTY has selected the CONSULTANT in accordance with the Professional Services Selection Process found in Section 2-353(1)(a) of the DuPage County Procurement Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee has reviewed and recommends approval of the attached AGREEMENT at the specified amount, for a contract period of April 28, 2026, through October 31, 2028.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the DuPage County Board that the attached AGREEMENT between the County of DuPage and Alfred Benesch & Company be hereby accepted and approved for a contract total not to exceed $500,000.00 and that the Chair of the DuPage County Board is hereby authorized and directed to execute the attached AGREEMENT on behalf of the COUNTY and the DuPage County Clerk is hereby authorized to attest thereto; and
