TO H & H ELECTRIC COMPANY
LED TRAFFIC SIGNAL HEAD REPLACEMENT
AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN DU PAGE COUNTY
SECTION 26-00000-06-GM

WHEREAS, the County of DuPage is authorized and empowered to construct, repair,
improve and maintain County and/or township roads, bridges, and appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the County of DuPage has published a contract proposal for 2026 LED Traffic Signal Head Replacements at various intersections within DuPage County, Section 26-00000-06-GM, setting forth the terms, conditions, and specifications (a copy of which is incorporated herein by reference); and

WHEREAS, the budget for the 2026 fiscal year provides for the construction and
maintenance of roads, bridges, and appurtenances; and

WHEREAS, the following bids were received in compliance with the contract proposal:
NAME BID AMOUNT-Base + A, B, C, D,E & F
H&H Electric Company $490,887.81

WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is in the best interest of the County of DuPage to award a contract to H & H Electric Company for its submission of the lowest, responsible bid in the amount of $490,887.81, for the Base Bid work along with Alternates A, B, C, D, E, & F.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a contract in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications set forth in said contract proposal be, and is hereby awarded to
H & H Electric Company, 598 Mitchell Rd. Glendale Heights, IL. 60139; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this contract rate is subject to the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130), and as such, not less than the prevailing rate of wages as found by the Illinois Department of Labor shall be paid to all laborers, workers, or mechanics performing work under this contract; and
