ISSUED TO GROOT INDUSTRIES, INC.
TO PROVIDE REFUSE DISPOSAL AND
RECYCLING PICK-UP SERVICES
FOR THE DIVISION OF TRANSPORTATION
(CONTRACT TOTAL AMOUNT: $50,000.00)

WHEREAS, bids have been taken and processed in accordance with County Board policy; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee recommends County Board approval for the issuance of a contract to Groot Industries, Inc. to provide refuse disposal and recycling pick-up services, for the period June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2028, for the Division of Transportation.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that said contract is to provide refuse disposal and recycling pick-up services, for the two-year period June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2028, for the Division of Transportation, be, and it is hereby approved for issuance of a contract to Groot Industries, Inc., 1330 Gasket Drive, Elgin, IL 60120, for a contract total amount not to exceed $50,000.00, per lowest responsible bid #26-009-FM.
