ISSUED TO COMPASS MINERALS AMERICA, INC.
TO FURNISH AND DELIVER BULK ROCK SALT
AS NEEDED FOR THE DIVISION OF TRANSPORTATION
(CONTRACT TOTAL AMOUNT $1,331,270.00)

WHEREAS, bids have been taken and processed in accordance with County Board policy; and

WHEREAS, the lowest most responsible bidder has been designated and the Transportation Committee recommends County Board approval for the issuance of a contract to Compass Minerals America, Inc., to furnish and deliver bulk rock salt, as needed for the Division of Transportation, for the period June 1, 2023 through May 31, 2024.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said contract to furnish and deliver bulk rock salt, as needed for the Division of Transportation, for the period June 1, 2023 through May 31, 2024, is hereby approved for issuance to Compass Minerals America, Inc., 9900 West 109^th Street, Suite 100, Overland Park, KS 66210, for a contract total amount of $1,331,270.00, per lowest responsible bid #23-057-DOT, subject to three (3) one-year renewals.
