BUDGET TRANSFER FOR THE EMERGENCY TELEPHONE
SYSTEM BOARD OF DU PAGE COUNTY
FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026

WHEREAS, the DuPage County Emergency Telephone System Board ("DU PAGE ETSB") is an emergency telephone system board, established pursuant to Section 15.4 of the Local Government Emergency Telephone System Act, 50 ILCS 750/15.4 ("Act"); and
WHEREAS, the DU PAGE ETSB is authorized and empowered, pursuant to Section 15.4 (b) of the Act to plan, implement, upgrade, and maintain an Emergency 9-1-1 System for the citizens of the County of DuPage and portions of Cook, Kane and Will counties; and
WHEREAS, the DU PAGE ETSB is authorized by law and local ordinance to make disbursements from the 9-1-1 surcharge funds it receives pursuant to law for costs related to products and services necessary for the implementation, upgrade and maintenance of the emergency telephone system; and
WHEREAS, the 9-1-1 System Manager recommends DU PAGE ETS Board approval for the following Fiscal Year 2026 budget transfers:
Amount : $200,837.00
From Fund/Object Code: 4000-5820-53830: Other Contractual Obligations
To Fund/Object Code: 4000-5820-53090: Other Professional Services
Purpose: Budget transfer for FY26 to move funds from 4000-5820-53830: Other Contractual Obligations to 4000-5820-53090: Other Professional Services for payment and accounting of contractual obligations related to the Motorola Encryption Project Phase I.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the DU PAGE ETS Board that the transfer amount of $200,837.00 from 4000-5820-53830: Other Contractual Obligations to 4000-5820-53090: Other Professional Services, be, and is hereby approved to be made within the indicated object codes.
