BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF DUPAGE AND
TAKE CHARGE D/B/A POISED FOR SUCCESS
FOR THE USE OF ARPA INTEREST FUNDS
FOR THE EMPOWERING WOMEN FOR EMPLOYMENT WHILE
STRENGTHENING OUR COMMUNITY PROGRAM

WHEREAS, Take Charge d/b/a Poised for Success (“Agency”) wishes to support the community through its Empowering Women for Employment While Strengthening Our Community program; and
WHEREAS, DuPage County (“County”) seeks to provide $18,000 in ARPA Interest funds to the Agency for costs associated with provision of said services which help prepare women to pursue employment with confidence, professionalism, and dignity; and
WHEREAS, the County has prepared a Grant Agreement which outlines the arrangements between the County and the Agency to govern the disbursement and auditing of the funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the DuPage County Board approves the attached Grant Agreement (“Exhibit A”) between the County and the Agency; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the DuPage County Board hereby directs the DuPage County Board Chair to execute the Grant Agreement between the County and the Agency.
