ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FOR THE THIRTY-EIGHTH (38th) YEAR
EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT PY26 COMPANY 5000 - ACCOUNTING UNIT 1470
FROM $286,959 TO $290,901 (AN INCREASE OF $3,972)
(Under the administrative direction of the Community Services Department)

WHEREAS, the County of DuPage, through the DuPage County Department of Community Services, heretofore accepted and appropriated the Thirty-Eighth (38th) Year Emergency Solutions Grant PY26, Company 5000 - Accounting Unit 1470, based upon initial planning numbers, pursuant to Resolution FI-R-0063-26 for the period of April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027; and
WHEREAS, the County of DuPage, through the DuPage County Department of Community Services, has been notified by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development that the awarded grant amount is $3,972 (THREE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-TWO AND NO/100 DOLLARS) more than the initial planning numbers, requiring an increase to the appropriated amount of the Thirty-Eighth (38th) Year Emergency Solutions Grant PY26, Company 5000 - Accounting Unit 1470; and
WHEREAS, no additional County funds are required to receive this additional funding; and
WHEREAS, the DuPage County Board finds that the need to appropriate said funds creates an emergency within the meaning of the Counties Act, Budget Division, (55 ILCS 5/6-1003).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the DuPage County Board that the appropriation relating to the Thirty-Eighth (38th) Year Emergency Solutions Grant PY26, Company 5000 - Accounting Unit 1470, be increased by $3,972 (THREE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-TWO AND NO/100 DOLLARS) as reflected on the attached budget sheet (ATTACHMENT I), and the program shall continue as originally approved in all other respects.
