ISSUED TO PARLIAMENT BUILDERS INC.
FOR THE LIHEAP EMERGENCY HEAT PROGRAM
COMPANY 5000 - ACCOUNTING UNIT 1420
(CONTRACT TOTAL AMOUNT: $173,066)
(Under the administrative direction of the Department of Community Services)

WHEREAS, proposals have been taken and processed in accordance with County Board policy; and
WHEREAS, Contractor and COUNTY have agreed on terms for the initial agreement in the amount of $173,066 (ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-THREE THOUSAND AND SIXTY-SIX AND 00/100 DOLLARS); and
WHEREAS, the Human Services Committee recommends County Board approval for the issuance of a contract purchase order to provide service, repair, or replacement of inoperable or red-tagged heating systems for low-income eligible homeowners in accordance with the LIHEAP Emergency Heat Program for Community Services, for the period October 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, under the PY27 LIHEAP Furnace Program Grants.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that covering said contract to provide service, repair, or replacement of inoperable or red-tagged heating systems for low-income eligible homeowners in accordance with the LIHEAP Emergency Heat Program, for the period October 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, for Community Services, under the PY27 LIHEAP Furnace Program Grants, be, and it is hereby approved for the issuance of a contract purchase order by the Procurement Division to Parliament Builders, Inc., Attn: Dominic DiVenere, 4455 S. Knox Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60632, for a contract total not to exceed $173,066, per bid #26-043-CS.
