AWARDING RESOLUTION TO RAVE WIRELESS INC. DBA RAVE MOBILE SAFETY PO 7591-1 FOR THE FIRST OF FOUR (4) OPTIONS TO RENEW SMART911 SERVICES (TOTAL AMOUNT: $119,300.00)

WHEREAS, the DuPage County Emergency Telephone System Board ("DU PAGE ETSB") is an emergency telephone system board, established pursuant to Section 15.4 of the Local Government Emergency Telephone System Act, 50 ILCS 750/15.4 ("Act"); and
WHEREAS, the DU PAGE ETSB is authorized and empowered, pursuant to Section 15.4 (b) of the Act to plan, implement, upgrade, and maintain an Emergency 9-1-1 System for citizens of the County of DuPage and portions of Cook, Kane and Will counties; and
WHEREAS, the DU PAGE ETSB is authorized by law and local ordinance to make disbursements from the 9-1-1 surcharge funds it receives pursuant to law for costs related to products and services necessary for the implementation, upgrade and maintenance of the emergency telephone system; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated in accordance with the DU PAGE ETSB by ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the 9-1-1 System Manager recommends DU PAGE ETS Board approval of Procurement Purchase Order Requisition 926009 to Rave Wireless Inc. dba Rave Mobile Safety for the first of four (4) options to renew Smart911 services. This renewal will cover the period from April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027. Contracted annual amount of $119,300.00.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that DU PAGE ETSB Requisition 926009, dated January 23, 2026, covering said, contract renewal of Smart911 services, be, and is hereby approved by the DU PAGE ETSB to Rave Wireless Inc. dba Rave Mobile Safety, 492 Old Connecticut Path, 2nd Floor, Framingham, MA 01701, for a total of $119,300.00.
