DUPAGE FEDERATION ON HUMAN SERVICES REFORM -
LANGUAGE ACCESS RESOURCE CENTER (LARC)
FOR INTERPRETATION/TRANSLATION AND
AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE SERVICES

WHEREAS, proposals have been taken and processed in accordance with County Board policy; and
WHEREAS, the County of DuPage had published RFP #23-072-CS to bid for face-to-face interpretation, telephone interpretation, translation services, and American Sign Language, setting forth the terms, conditions, and rate requests; and
WHEREAS, a proposal from the following company was received to provide State mandated interpretation services; and
WHEREAS, the Human Services Committee recommends County Board approval for the issuance of a County contract, for the period of December 1, 2026 through November 30, 2027, to DuPage Federation on Human Services Reform - Language Access Resource Center (LARC), for a third and final renewal, for face to face interpretation, telephone interpretation, translation services, and American Sign Language, in the amount of $34,000.00, for Community Services.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that a contract be issued to the above company to provide interpretation and translation services in accordance with the Illinois State mandate for the Community Services Senior Services Department, in the amount of $34,000.00, for the period of December 1, 2026 through November 30, 2027, to DuPage Federation on Human Services Reform - Language Access Resource Center (LARC), 1910 S. Highland Avenue, Suite 270 Lombard, IL, 60148, per RFP #23-072-CS, third and final renewal.
