WHEREAS, proposals have been taken and evaluated in accordance with County Board policy; and
WHEREAS, the Judicial and Public Safety Committee recommends County Board approval for the issuance of a contract to Journal Technologies, Inc., for a case management system, monthly storage costs and upgrades, for the period of December 1, 2026 through November 30, 2027, for the Public Defender’s Office.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that said contract is for a case management system and monthly storage costs, for the period of December 1, 2026 through November 30, 2027, for the Public Defender’s Office, per renewal of RFP #17-143-BF, be, and it is hereby approved for the issuance of a contract purchase order by the Procurement Division to Journal Technologies, Inc., 915 E. 1st Street, Los Angeles, California 90012, for a contract total amount of $372,680.
