AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF DUPAGE, ILLINOIS
AND TROTTER & ASSOCIATES, INC
FOR INSPECTION AND DESIGN ENGINEERING FOR
STORMWATER FACILITIES COUNTYWIDE

WHEREAS, the Illinois General Assembly has granted the County of DuPage ("COUNTY") authority to develop watershed plans, undertake measures to control and protect against flooding, manage stormwater and to enter into agreements for the purposes of stormwater management and flood control (Illinois Compiled Statutes, Chapter 55, paragraphs 5/5-1062.3 and 5/5-15001 et seq.); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said authority, the COUNTY periodically undertakes small scale stormwater management, drainage and flood control activities; and
WHEREAS, the COUNTY requires various professional services (surveying, modeling, inspection, conceptual and preliminary design, permitting, engineering plans and specifications, etc.), on an on-call basis, as necessary for its flood control facilities; and
WHEREAS, the CONSULTANT has experience and expertise providing each of the professional services required by the County and is willing to perform the required services, for an amount not to exceed ninety thousand dollars and no cents ($90,000.00).
WHEREAS, the CONSULTANT acknowledges that it is qualified to perform the services covered by this AGREEMENT and is in good standing and has not been barred from performing professional services; and
WHEREAS, the COUNTY has adopted a Stormwater Ordinance and the Stormwater Management Plan. The CONSULTANT acknowledges the necessary oversight to ensure compliance with the Stormwater Ordinance and Stormwater Management Plan in the event the PROJECT necessitates this scope of work; and
