Determining the Compensation of DuPage County Elected Officials.  
Committee members discussed the various proposed salary changes. Many noted that the  
Chair's position should be considered full-time and compensated appropriately. It was  
reiterated that Committee members are voting on the salaries of future board members,  
and not on their own salaries.  
A motion was made by Member Tornatore and seconded by Member Eckhoff to amend  
the County Board Chair's salary to $185,000 per year, beginning in 2027, with a 3%  
increase in 2028, a 2% increase in 2029, and a 2% increase in 2030. Upon a roll call vote,  
the motion passed.
