PRESENTATION  
8. A. Greg Bedalov - Connect DuPage  
Greg Bedalov, President & CEO of Choose DuPage, presented on Connect DuPage, a program  
designed to strengthen the local small business ecosystem by increasing supplier visibility,  
improving business readiness, and supporting local business-to-business connections. Mr.  
Bedalov outlined program goals, target markets, and recent enhancements to the initiative.  
Committee members had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussion.

OLD BUSINESS  
Lisa Schvach provided an update to the Committee on the progress of workNet’s State  
Supplemental Grant interns. The NxtGen team of young adults is actively engaging with local  
businesses to learn about various industry sectors and produce video content for their social  
media platforms, which has contributed to increased traffic across multiple channels. Additional  
updates will be provided as the initiative progresses.

Greg Bedalov reminded Committee members of the 16th Annual DuPage County Regional  
Business Outlook breakfast to be held June 4, 2026 and encouraged all members to attend.
