present.
Debbie Krygowski (Merit Commission Assistant) was also present.

Merit Commission Meeting Schedule
The Commission reviewed the August meeting schedule and cancelled the August 14th meeting.
Ms. Krygowski will coordinate and schedule a second meeting in August if commissioners are
available.

EXECUTIVE SESSION
Commissioner Kachiroubas moved and Commissioner Gravina seconded the motion to enter into
Executive Session. Roll call vote: all ayes.

Pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act for the appointment,
compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of a specific employee, one-on-one
interviews.
The Commission entered into Executive Session at 8:33 a.m.
The Commission returned to Open Session at 10:13 a.m.

Commissioner Kachiroubas moved and Commissioner Gravina seconded the motion to certify
candidates 3003, 3006, 3007, and 3008. Roll call vote: all ayes.
Candidates 2905, 2906, and 3004 were not certified.
