Meeting called to order at 8:30 a.m. by Chairman Reyes.

a.
Lateral Advertisements on The Blue Line
Ms. Krygowski informed the Commission that the lateral advertisements on theblueline.com
were set to expire in August and she would like to repost the lateral posting for 6 months,
including a home page square for 2 months for each. Chairman Reyes instructed Ms. Krygowski
to prepare a budget transfer for the August 1st meeting to cover the cost of the advertisements.

LEB Sergeant Assessment Center
Ms. Krygowski informed the Commission that one deputy who participated in the written exam
has National Guard training during the scheduled Assessment Center dates. Discussion. The
Commission will decide how to proceed once results of the exam are received.

REPORT FROM SHERIFF'S OFFICE
Chief Garcia shared that the Sheriff's Office continues to have vacancies and appreciates the
Commission's efforts in certifying candidates.
Lindsey Stern shared that for the Corrections promotional exams, the registration documents will
include the tentative dates of the Assessment Center so that deputies can plan ahead to reserve
those dates.

Commissioner Kachiroubas moved and Commissioner Gravina seconded the motion to enter into
Executive Session. Roll call vote: all ayes.
