DISCUSSION  
Trails Plan Update Presentation.  
Director Snyder introduced the Senior Transportation Planner, Sidney Kenyon, who gave  
an update of the Trails Plan. This plan is for the maintenance and operations of the  
existing trail network under DuPage County's responsibility.  
The Division of Transportation is seeking the Committee's direction on nine staff  
recommendations regarding: Signage and Wayfinding, Ordinance Updating, Partnerships,  
Healthy Trails, Trail User Experience and Trail Maintenance. Following some discussion,  
the Committee was in support of all of the staff recommendations. As for next steps,  
DOT will finalize the Draft Plan and bring forward to the Transportation Committee for a  
recommendation to release for a 30-day Public Comment period.
