Chair Haider welcomed committee members and members of the public to today's meeting.  
Chair Haider announced that public comment will be moved to after the CMAP presentation.  
PUBLIC COMMENT  
Kat Gerdts, Administrative Coordinator for the Kane-DuPage Soil & Water Conservation  
District highlighted several upcoming green events to the members of the committee. Kay  
McKeen, Executive Director of SCARCE gave public comment on the record breaking work  
SCARCE is doing to forward sustainability in the County.

Prithvi Hedge, Planner at Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning, presented on the  
Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CMAP) for the Greater Chicago Region. Prithvi explained  
CMAP's plan to act on growing climate change in our region. This presentation broke down the  
data that explained where emissions are coming from and the reduction targets CMAP is aiming  
to achieve by 2050. Prithvi concluded this presentation by summarizing the strategies and six  
core actions of the plan that define the region's path toward its reduction targets.
