Board Member Rutledge mentioned that the Development Committee is working on a  
Dark Skies ordinance that may recommend color temperature for street lights, and  
inquired as to the consideration of color temperatures of the traffic signals. Assistant  
County Engineer Bill Eidson explained that the traffic signals have ITE standards which  
need to be met, and depending on the recommendations in the ordinance DOT staff  
would update project specifications for future projects as much as possible to meet the  
ordinance.

MFT funds with an Electric Vehicle registration fee, a flex fuel tax or a charging station usage  
fee. State's Attorney Barb Reynolds advised the Committee that she will look into the current  
Ordinances and will advise the Committee of her findings.
