PUBLIC COMMENT  
Glenn Nelson of Glen Ellyn Woods Subdivision spoke against the proposed text amendment  
regarding video gaming. He has previously attended meetings and submitted public comment  
and was surprised that the text amendment would make the ordinance less restrictive for the  
distance requirements from protected uses. He asked Members to review the documents he put  
forth through public comment for possible changes that limit video gaming proliferation in the  
County.  
Richard Forty, the petitioner for Zoning case ZONING-25-000070 was in attendance, but did not  
speak.

Member Covert inquired about how light pollution is considered with issuing LED sign  
permits. Jessica Infelise, Zoning Administration Coordinator answered that the sign  
would need to meet zoning requirements in section 37-1103.C with conditions tied to the  
timing, brightness and will not exceed 5 foot-candles at the property line. Nick  
Kottmeyer, Chief Administrative Officer added that the Dark Skies Initiative has not been  
extended to the private sector.
