CALL TO ORDER  
Meeting called to order at 8:30 a.m. by Chairman Reyes.

ROLL CALL  
Upon roll call, Chairman Reyes and Commissioner Gravina were present.  
Commissioner Gravina moved and Chairman Reyes seconded the motion to allow Commissioner  
Kachiroubas to participate remotely. Roll call vote: all ayes. Commissioner Kachiroubas joined  
via Zoom.

FY2026 Budget Request  
Ms. Krygowski presented a revised FY2026 budget request increasing the amount for "Other  
Professional Services" to include funds for an Assessment Center for both bureaus, proctored  
in-person entrance exams, and background investigation services. Discussion. Chairman Reyes  
called for a motion to approve the FY2026 budget request. Commissioner Gravina moved and  
Commissioner Kachiroubas seconded the motion. Roll call vote: all ayes.

REPORT FROM SHERIFF'S OFFICE  
EXECUTIVE SESSION  
Commissioner Kachiroubas moved and Commissioner Gravina seconded the motion to enter into  
Executive Session. Roll call vote: all ayes.  
a.  
Pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act for the appointment,  
compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of a specific employee, one-on-one  
interviews.  
b.  
Pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(21) of the Open Meetings Act to determine destruction of  
certain executive session audio recordings.  
The Commission entered into Executive Session at 8:34 a.m.  
The Commission returned to Open Session at 10:29 a.m.

MATTERS TO BE REFERRED FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION (IF ANY)  
a.  
Action on the certification of candidates subject to one-on-one interviews on June 24,  
2025.  
Commissioner Kachiroubas moved and Commissioner Gravina seconded the motion to certify  
lateral transfer to Law Enforcement candidates 2504 and 2506. Roll call vote: all ayes.  
Commissioner Kachiroubas moved and Commissioner Gravina seconded the motion to certify  
lateral transfer to Corrections candidate 2507 and Corrections candidate 2848. Roll call vote: all  
ayes.  
Candidates 2505, 2849, and 2851 were not certified.  
b.  
Action on the destruction of certain executive session audio recordings pursuant to  
Section 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(21) of the Open Meetings Act.  
Commissioner Kachiroubas moved and Commissioner Gravina seconded the motion to destroy  
Executive Session audio recordings from 11/20/2022; 12/4/2022; 12/18/2022; 1/8/2023;  
1/22/2023; 2/16/2023; 3/9/2023; 3/16/2023; 4/6/2023; 4/20/2023; 5/4/2023; 5/25/2023;  
6/1/2023; 6/15/2023; 7/27/2023; 8/3/2023; 8/17/2023; 9/14/2023; 9/21/2023; 10/5/2023;  
10/19/2023; 11/16/2023; 12/7/2023; and 12/21/2023. Roll call vote: all ayes.
