Chair DeSart gave a brief Legislative update to the Committee and introduced our lobbyist Marc  
Poulos.  
DISCUSSION  
6.A. Overview of the Spring Legislative Session - Marc Poulos - Raucci & Sullivan Strategies  
Lobbyist Marc Poulos gave a run down of the legislative activity in Springfield that included bill  
updates on economy, environmental, health and safety, affordable housing and animal welfare.  
Marc fielded questions from the Board members regarding the SAFE-T act, data centers and  
other bills/amendments.

2026 Key Bill List  
Kate Kissane reviewed the Key Bill List with the Committee giving details on the  
movement of the listed bills that relate to the DuPage County 2026 State Legislative  
Program.

Chair DeSart requested the Legislative Committee meeting be changed to Committee week at  
11:30am. The Committee agreed.
