CALL TO ORDER  
Meeting called to order at 8:32 a.m. by Chairman Reyes.

ROLL CALL  
Upon roll call, Chairman Reyes and Commissioner Gravina were present.  
Commissioner Gravina moved and Chairman Reyes seconded the motion to allow Commissioner  
Kachiroubas to participate remotely. Commissioner Kachiroubas joined via Zoom.

Commissioner Kachiroubas moved and Commissioner Gravina seconded the motion to approve

Budget Status  
Ms. Krygowski presented the current Revenues and Expenditures reports as well as the final  
FY2025 budget request.

Bills Payable  
Commissioner Kachiroubas moved and Commissioner Gravina seconded the motion to approve  
the 7/11/24 Bills Payable List. Roll call vote: all ayes.

Candidate Status  
Ms. Krygowski presented the current status in the testing and certification process.  
d.  
Background Investigator  
Undersheriff Moore shared that he has a retired detective who will assist with the background  
investigations through the Sheriff's Office beginning in September. Discussion regarding the  
background investigation process.

NEW BUSINESS  
a.  
Corrections Promotional Exams  
Ms. Krygowski shared a timeline developed for the 2024 Corrections Promotional Exams. The  
Commission set a makeup date of Saturday, October 12th for the makeup written exam.

REPORT FROM THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE  
The Sheriff's office appreciates the efforts from the Commission and continues to especially need  
Corrections deputies.  
EXECUTIVE SESSION  
Commissioner Kachiroubas moved and Commissioner Gravina seconded the motion to enter into  
Executive Session. Roll call vote: all ayes.  
Paul Bruckner, Undersheriff Moore, Chief Garcia, and Lindsey Stern left the room.  
a.  
Pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act for the appointment,  
compensation, performance, discipline, or dismissal of a specific employee, one-on-one  
interviews.  
The Commission entered into Executive Session at 8:47 a.m.  
The Commission returned to Open Session at 9:56 a.m.

MATTERS TO BE REFERRED FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION (IF ANY)  
a.  
Action on the certification of candidates subject to one-on-one interviews on July 11,  
2024.  
Chairman Reyes called for a motion to certify Lateral Transfer to Law Enforcement candidate  
2216. Commissioner Kachiroubas moved and Commissioner Gravina seconded the motion.  
Roll call vote: all ayes.  
Chairman Reyes called for a motion to certify Law Enforcement candidates 2702, 2703, 2704  
and 2705. Commissioner Kachiroubas moved and Commissioner Gravina seconded the motion.  
Roll call vote: all ayes.
